Brendan and Mark live and work from a small cottage on the remote and rugged Isle of Ulva.

Ormaig was born from a love of life on the coast and from studying the healing properties of the sea; it is the name of an ancient settlement on Ulva where the Kelp industry once thrived.

Today we’re returning to ancient practice and using heritage skills to gather kelp sustainably before drying it naturally in the sun and wind. We then use the essential qualities of the seaweed to introduce Hebridean Kelp Bathing & Skincare into the modern home with a range of beautiful, natural beauty products.
